Live-in Home Care

 

• Garden House provides our residents 24 hour care and supervision in a home like environment. It is the next best thing to home.

• We care for patients on hospice or patients who are no longer able to live alone at home and patients who have had a change in their physical and health needs.

•  We provide excellent individualized care by trained and loving caregivers.

• Residents have their own rooms, where they can personalize with their photographs and décor. Our rooms are large and airy.

• Our resident to caregiver ratio is two or two and a half to one, therefore reducing the risk of falls and providing a calm, close and attentive relationship.

• We believe that each and every resident holds an immense value.

• We at Garden House do everything possible to make them aware of that fact. Our residents will be treated with the love, respect and dignity they deserve.

 

Moving your parent or elderly loved one into assisted or a residential home is one of the hardest and heart wrenching decisions you will ever had to make. But if it makes your parent safe and healthy and even happy as he or she adjusts to their new environment. Where you place your parent or elderly loved will make a difference in how well and how soon they adjust to their environment and caregivers. In our residential home, they will see the same caregivers daily, resulting in a smoother transition.

 

Registered Nurse on site

 

• Registered Nurse closely communicates with the attending physician or hospice agency of any changes that may occur.

• Provides medication administration, diabetic monitoring, insulin administration and wound care.

 

Meals

 

• We at Garden House are providing home cooked meals, based on the resident’s individualized dietary needs.

• We provide three meals and three snacks a day.

 

Transportation

 

• Garden house will provide transportation to our ambulatory residents to their Doctor’s appointments or will contact resident’s MD, who does house calls.

 

Communication

 

• Resident’s families are always welcomed to drop by and visit their loved one during visiting hours.

• Families are encouraged to call for updates or call and talk to their loved one.
